Cutesy Maori-inspired doodle

I thought it would be cool to try and re-imagine Rangi and Papa so I doodled this one on holiday on my little laptop XD. I think the faces could have been pushed a bit more, and I should have really researched some more clothing designs, but hey, it was fun.

The movie we had to re-imagine was Jason and the Argonauts... So I sorta figured they'd be a soccer team with the monsters on one side and the goodie-goods on the other. I chose to draw the collossus...

I think he came out ok, but I had originally wanted to do something bigger and chunkier - think along the lines of Shadow of the Collossus - rather than comedic. The front on stance works for a joke, but I shoulda pushed more... damnit.





These kids are just afterthoughts... toning down the monsters into human caricatures... though Tommy did it better D:
